Matteo is a composer. In collaboration with Michael, he has scored numerous adverts, such as the official Etsy Super Bowl 2024 campaign or Samsung’s global advertising campaign for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He has also worked closely with renowned cellist Martin Tillman on recording sessions for major international projects.
Matteo leads the technical and creative development of Handcrafted Audio, from interface and interaction design, to scripting and user experience.

Daniel is a sound engineer with a deep cinematic sensibility. Having worked on productions such as The White Massai, The Diary of Anne Frank or Heidi, he is one of the most sought-after tonmeisters for film music in Switzerland and Germany. He has also collaborated with artists and ensembles, including Herbert Grönemeyer, The London Symphony Orchestra and Pierre Favre.
With a strong passion for analogue hardware and an impressive collection of vintage microphones, he represents the sonic core of Handcrafted Audio. Every sample is processed through his legendary Cadac console, ensuring that the instruments carry maximum depth, nuance, warmth and character.

Michael is a composer. In collaboration with Matteo, he has worked on a diverse array of projects, such as the drama series New Heights, the French crime series Hors Saison and the period drama Sisi & I. In addition to that, he has written over 150 arrangements across jazz, pop and classical.
Michael curates the sounds and shapes the musical identity of our instruments, from the concept, sound design and the way each tool supports composition and emotional storytelling. Beyond that, he defines the voice, feel and direction of our brand as a whole.
