A NEW ORCHESTRAL COLOR
The Handcrafted Piano is an expressive upright felt piano with a delicate wooden tone, recorded in great detail with some of the finest original vintage microphones (Coles 4038, Neumann M49 and Neumann M62) and carefully polished through a complex analog mixing process on the legendary Cadac console where Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody was mixed. We then fine-tuned the instrument by optimising its playability and responsiveness on many popular MIDI keyboard brands.
The Handcrafted Piano is meant to be a tool to produce inspiring and moving music with contemporary aesthetics. One of our goals was to provide a production-ready instrument that blends seamlessly into an arrangement, as well as being able to shine as a solo piano.
